Make ahead và Freezing Instructions:

To freeze the breadstick dough: Make the recipe khổng lồ step 5, allowing the dough to rise once, punching down, & shaping it into breadsticks. Before the second rise, spray a piece of plastic wrap and place it lightly over the dough. Place the cookie sheet into the freezer & flash freeze the dough for 1 hour.

Once frozen, place breadstick dough into a freezer safe ziplock và freeze for up lớn 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight (for at least 12 hours). When ready to bake, place frozen dough on a cookie sheet & allow to lớn sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Continue with step 6 of the recipe.

Freezing baked breadsticks: Allow to cool completely and store breadsticks in a freezer safe bag or container for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature or gently warm in oven or microwave.
