Make crispy & spicy sweet potato fries at home with just a few simple steps. They go great with burgers  , ribz , or vegan fried chik’n. 



You can skip the spices in this recipe và just showroom salt, but we recommend adding the spices.

We’re giving you two ways lớn spice up these fries. The first is with a Cuban spice blend and the second is a Southern-style spice blend.

Sazon spice is a warm and savory spice blend made up of cumin, oregano, garlic, onion, parsley, and salt & pepper.

It’s a lovely combination of savory & warm herbs & spices that go wonderfully with the sweetness of the potato.

Our Southern-style spice blend is reminiscent of our Homeade BBQ Sauce.

In this spice blend you’ll find cumin, smoked paprika, onion, garlic, cayenne, và salt & pepper.

The sweetness of the potato và the heat và savory flavors from the spices make a great combination.

You can make a batch without spices, a batch of Cuban spiced, or our spicy Southern blend, all three are delicious.


Cut the sweet potatoes into fries or wedges.


Whisk the spices and potato (or corn) starch together in a large bowl until they’re completely combined.

Or, put them in a large Ziploc bag.


Toss the potatoes into the spice & starch mix & toss or shake them until the potatoes are completely covered.

Now showroom the oil and toss or shake again until the potatoes are coated with the oil.


Place the potatoes on a parchment lined (makes for an easier clean up) baking sheet. Make sure that they have a bit of room & aren’t stacked on top of one another.

Roast for 15 minutes and then flip & roast for another 15 minutes, or until they’re golden brown & crispy.

Take them out of the oven and showroom salt lớn taste. They will get even crispier if you let them cool for five minutes!
